1. Our approach
Your website and data are only useful if they stay safe. We build security into each project from the start and keep it up to date after launch. This page explains the practices we follow on this website and on the projects we deliver.
2. Secure connections
We deploy sites over HTTPS so information sent between your visitors and the site is encrypted. Forms are protected against automated spam and misuse.
3. Secure development
- We validate and sanitise input and escape output to guard against common attacks such as cross-site scripting and SQL injection.
- We use trusted frameworks and keep them, and their plugins and packages, updated.
- We review third-party code before using it and remove what is not needed.
- Custom applications use role-based access so people only see what they should.
4. Access control
We limit access to client systems to the people who need it, use strong, unique passwords and encourage two-step verification on every account that supports it. When a project ends, we remove our access on request.
5. Hosting, backups and updates
We recommend reputable hosting with firewalls and malware monitoring, regular backups kept separate from the live site, and a maintenance plan that applies security updates promptly. Backup and monitoring arrangements for your project are set out in your proposal.
6. Handling your data
We collect only the information needed to do the work and share it only with providers who help us deliver it. See our Privacy Policy for details of what we collect and your rights.
7. Responsible disclosure
If you believe you have found a security issue on this website, please tell us so we can fix it. Email info@errorsol.com with a clear description and steps to reproduce it. Please give us a reasonable time to respond before sharing it publicly, and do not access or change other people’s data while testing. We will acknowledge your report and keep you updated.
8. Your part
Security is shared. Keep your passwords private and unique, turn on two-step verification, keep your plugins and software updated, and tell us straight away if you notice anything unusual on your site.
